Jackie Wilson and the Four Tops
In 1957, Jackie decided to leave Billy Ward and the dominoes. It had become apparent that Ward had no bigger ambitions than to keep making vast amounts of money without having to travel or work especially hard. Wilson was a huge fan of Mario Lanza's 1951 film The Great Caruso - in which he played The Opera Singer and Rico Caruso.
