The Future of Food Supply Chains in Africa

About 15% of the world's calories come from wheat. About a third of that wheat comes from Russia, Ukraine. It is five times as expensive to buy basic ammonia fertilizer today than it was a few weeks ago. And we already have about 800 million people on earth that are subsisting on below 1200 calories a day. The man whose job it is to tell everybody everything's gonna be okay and we're gonna fix the problem is telling people, yeah, everything's gonna get way more expensive and we're short on food.
