Truck was freed on parole in accordance with the supreme court decisions which said that madatory life sentences for juveniles were unconstitutional. He's reunited with his family, although his dad died from cove as ismam has alseimers. Chucked is an interesting case because his release is the fruit of a movement to reducing the use of life sentences in America.
