Hitler's 'Liaison Mission' Was a Failure
Hitler was sent into the german workers party in order to monitor and probably undermine bavarian separatism. He first made contact with north german right wing circles that already had access to financial support from major industrialists. Hitler's first year of politics was subsidized by his army salary. And not just that, he was literally an army representative working under orders from his commanders.
