The Best Year of the 80s
The 80s was a decade that seemed to offer a lot of hope and progress. I don't think any year exemplified this better than 1985. Things really felt like smooth sailing in 1985. So as we wind down, yes there were still a lot of terrible things that happened around the world but they really seemed to take a back seat to the fun and excitement the year had to offer.
