God's Glory Is Comparable to His Prominence
Egypt is compared to a beautiful heifer, pursued by a biting fly from the north. The axemen that are coming down to cut the forests of Egypt are more numerous than locusts. They are like a great devouring force, like a new plague that has come upon the land of the south. After the assaults of the Babylonians, life in Egypt will be restored to what it was beforehand.
