Did It Rain Before the Flood Rain?

There's an assertion that it didn't rain before the flood. That's accompanied with the idea that noah lived in a desert and never seen it rain. So when he built the ark, it was this massive act of faith because he didn't know what god was talking about. Which is a massive extrapolation from something that isn't in the bible at all. And so i think it's really important for us to keep those things in our mind as we go through life. I'm sorry if i just blew your mind and destroyed your faith, i'm actually quite fond of people who rely less on the bible than they should.
