Women in Mountaineering

When the alpine club was founded in 18 57, they did not allow women as members. In response, women created the ladies alpine club in 19 o seven le blond served as the first president. Then there's miriam o'brien after she was told she needed a man to show her where its summit was. She and other women completed many summits without the aid of men.
