Free Wall Skepticism and Retributive Blame
I think that we could basically have quite an optimistic view of what free wall skepticism might look like. It seems to me that even if we're worried about the way that we interact with people and reactive attitudes it's not clear that these all have to fall apart. At least some of our terms like regret or resentment don't obviously come with this strong commitment to retributivism. So at least on my view it might be the free will in a robust sense is less extensive and less certain than we ordinarily assume. If that's the case then I think we have quite good reasons to be cautious about any kind of retributivity.
