The Vulgate Cycle and the Lancelot Grail Cycle
The Vulgate cycle is probably the most significant medieval work on King Arthur. It's an enormous cycle of romances written in French in prose, telling the story of Camelot. The final cycle begins with the origins of the Holy Grail at Christ's crucifixion and the journey of the Grail to Britain. And it goes right up to the death of Arthur and the sort of collapse of his kingdom.
