Is This a Comedy With a Strong Social Message, Fil Good Series?

The series is called osark. Weird name, isn't it? I know it's because there's an area of natural beauty in the united states called ozark. There's a seemingly not very interesting accountant who gets mixed up with a drug cartel. His character changes and so does that of his whole family. They start off as seeming seemingly seemingly means but they all become darker. Their characters change for the worse the whole way through. Only a few moments where they actually do nice things. And it's really interesting to see how under stress people feel like they have no choice but to do unpleasant things Because they don't know if they're going to survive.
