There's some fun goosebumps stuff that happens in this like the build up to the to the like kick off of the action where there's like a chump touches his shoulder from out of frame and it spooks him. And then I don't think you were prepared for what happened in the next few scenes because you really did not know what was happening going in. Which is when they go to Jack Black's office and see all the books on the shelf. It turns out that Jack Black is playing the man R.L. Stein and he has written all the goosebumps books, so no made-up ones.
