The Rise of Technology in Pop Music

It does seem like the ante is being upped once again for spectacle and technology at concerts this year. There's a lot of major artists going on the road or getting ready to go on the road. And in those cases it does feel like no expense is being spared. We're seeing some breakthroughs. The Taylor Swift show is fantastic. I'm sure there's a competitive edge coming in. Beyonce has spent 25 years doing what she does at an incredibly high level. She was trying to up the ante. Her shows have always been pretty great but have had both music and spectacle. You'll start seeing more and more of that.
