Breaking the Rules Is the Only Way

When i first taugt to think law, a very close menter of mine in education, an elder black woman whom I respected and admired, saint collan. All i heard in my mind is, that's it. I'm just a teacher. That's that. So i'm going to lean into that to one thousand % of being my identity in this work period. And the thing about breaking a chicking the rules is really powerful,. for a lot of our kids, i think this is really the only way.
