i don't know how to get people to play longer turn games. The only thing that seems to be able to make people play long term games against their financial interests is ideology, including religion. Alex Hormosie actaly says desire is a contract not to be happy until we get what we want. And if you just substitute that, you get the role of a business is to make people not happy until they get what they want in exchange for money. So much of business success is in convincing people that they are not happy enough.
