John the Baptist said God would provide a lamb, but he didn't. That's why it left room for John the Baptist to say, Behold the lamb of God. One of the words for power in the Old Testament is horn. Jesus' horns are wrapped in a thicket; that's exactly like saying you've got divine muscle flexing.
