On December 25, 47 BC, he sets sail, inadvisably crossing the Mediterranean in winter seas. In celebration of his victory, Caesar has a fling with you know, wife and bougat, king of the moors. After six months away again in July 46 BC, Caesar is back in Rome. Delayed by conflict, he's not yet had a chance to mark his triumph in the Gallic Wars.
