i think i started almost a hundred % doing all my work in creating what i did for other people. And gradually, overtime, i'f gained more confidence in doing it for my own sake. I also love that you brought up creating work for your future self, because i think that's an even better definition of art. When people say they do it for its own sake, it's kind of a selfish reason. Like, i create this almost like for my future self to look at. Or if people give advice, it's almost like what they wish they had years ago. You know, i've published two books, and one of them was a world wide, global best seller
