Tesla Has Completely Redesigned the Vehicle Assembly Process
Tesla has completely redesigned how the vehicle assembly process will work which they believe will basically give them a 30% improvement and efficiency in that area. Tesla also highlighted some of their other factory efforts this year including their lithium refinery project at Texas. Gigamexico is going to begin producing 50 gigawatt Lithium-ion batteries within 12 months with 60 gigawatt capacity by 2018.
