The AOS Satoshi system is not meant only to be used for lining. It was kind of like a general purpose watch tower that ended up being implemented for swan lining because it was the best fit. There's some registration and some subscription model built in, but that's being built using F&M keys for the user. All the information being shared between client and towers is done under this subscription umbrella with a femoral IDs.
