In 1790, the largest London brewery produced 175,000 barrels. That's a lot of beer. And by 1815, the largest was Barkley Perkins and they produced 337,000 Barrels. Well, you also found that a form of party-gile brewing was commonly done to produce different strengths from one batch. It gets more common than the further you go through the century.
