The Limitation of Melatonin in Insomnia

Not having enough tryptophan in the brain can be a limiting factor for onset insomnia. The best ways to increase that are to either take tryptophans in the stomach or to eat a high, you know, with high glycemic carbs or to exercise. Some people who do not get enough carbohydrate don't repleting their hepatic glycogen before they go to bed. So all of those could kind of feed into the same mechanism as your serotonin levels.
