How to Develop a Shared Vision for Your Organization

When I took command of 55th Brigade, National Guard Brigade, about 3000 soldiers distributed across northeastern Pennsylvania down toward the Philadelphia area. 85% of them had full times of laying jobs. So like, man, I got to develop a vision for this organization in order for us to show some, you know, to move forward here. The result was our imagination and creativity were stifled as you can imagine; we felt more like objects rather than part of team.
