The History of the French Tapestry
In 1803, Napoleon Bonaparte has it moved from Baier to display in Paris as propaganda. When the Allies land in Normandy in 1944, the Nazis move the tapestry to Paris where it awaits onward passage to Germany. British codebreakers intercept himless plans and the resistance race to take the Louvre just hours before the SS can seize it. A museum is constructed to display the fabric. Its centerpiece is a glass case allowing visitors to see the entire cloth in one room.
