Trent horn: In the modern world, in what we might call the western culture, the bible is now demegrated as unworthy of us. Galvin: We don't need to dismiss the bible. What we need to do is understand what the human condition is and how the bible is god's word introduced into that condition. And so it reflects that mess, and that makes it particularly beautiful, i think.
