Many people regret not having the energy, courage or time to pursue those things that were most important for them. One of my patients who did it what I would call right was a patient named Ernesto and he was dying of leukemia. It just made me realize that if we spend all of our time deferring gratification, there's definitely something lost. You can be on the journey to get somewhere and that's fantastic, but you also have to enjoy the moment to moment"
