Is the Open Library a Good Idea?
The open library is trying to make it easier for people to rent books from the internet. But publishers are pushing back, saying that libraries should not be able to do this. The author says they don't have much consideration for the pub good in all this. He also argues that if we want a healthy society where young people can inform themselves and become happy, productive members of society, we needn't discourage it.
