F Sharp: A Language for Writing Clients and Client Server Web Things
F sharp allows you to write clients, client server web thing in a single language. It had this reflection mechanism where you could like, quote or annotate certain bits of code and it would give you a representation of the code at runtime. So that's a that's a sort of thing you could do in the language. And then you discover all the nice things like pattern matching and sort of recursion, which is kind of an academic curiosity,. But if you're trying to write something that generates F sharp code into JavaScript, that's really a basic tool.
