As an atheist, i saw life as a line segment. You've a point called birth, a point called death, and you have 90 years in between. And if i don't get 90 pain free years, i'm going to call that evil. It turns out that everything that we determine is evil. We do so on the basis of our idea of what our life ought to have been.
