keven rose: I'm really excited about these guests. It is a bill merris, who was my old colleague and former boss. And he was the man behind google ventures. He ran it for many years, and has recently stepped away to start his own fund. i think he's got a great nose for all things investing, but he is certainly not afraid to venture into unfamiliar territory or take on new challenges.
Bill is the founder and first CEO of Google Ventures (GV). With $3.0 billion under management and investments in Uber and Nest, GV was described as one of the hottest venture funds in Silicon Valley under his leadership. Maris oversaw the growth of the team from 1 to 70+, across 7 offices, 2 continents, and 400 investments.
