Offer new foods in small portions, and offer it along with a favorite. Another strategy is to offer similar foods. For instance, if your child likes mashed potatoes, try mashed sweet potato or mashed carrots. Be patient. It really does take time for a toddler to expand their diet. Focus on relax and happy meal times as the priority.
