A, kas: The thing that actually turned me on to wanting to be involved in esoteric study was a when i was around 20, 21 years of age. For some weird reason, i came across a book called a separate reality by a guy called carlos castenida. He described in gross detail the relationship between a complete novice and somebody who ideally had actual literal powers as a magician or sorcerer. His books became quite controversial because they later were questioned about as to their authenticity.
