Reaction Shots to Sell Story, Truth, Emotion
I've seen that the storyboard has a lot more feeling to it just because it's drawn and then you get to the layout and it's like a video game. Some of my favorite shots in the movie are reaction shots. We have to request them often because the way things are storyboarded, people tend to concentrate on what they think we should be looking at which is the person talking or that a reaction is taking place.
