Black Panther Movie Review
I remember so much about this day. I was wearing a dress with moons on the skirt and over top of that I wore a shirt, a T-shirt that said black girl magic to go see this movie. And because it was opening night the theater was packed and people were like yelling at the screen and cheering along the entire movie which was beautiful. So I'm really glad that Margot Lee Shatterley wrote down their stories. I'm so glad that Catherine Johnson broke the barriers that she did. It was such a powerful moment in the theater but also like a larger cultural moment to see for maybe the first time three very strong amazing examples of black women scientists and engineers in the past
