The Invisible Hand Is the Fundamental Tenant That We Should Be Maximizing Individual Freedom
Not every society thinks that the goal is to optimize individual freedom. Yet, it would be interesting to explore more explicitly the difference between mill's harm principle and the picture of maximum freedom that kant provides. Just like in kant's picture of the various formulations of the catecol comparative, what's the third one? The kingdom of ends. And by nature, the way that individuals fit together the best is if they're each exhibiting their own freedom.
