Synoptic Gospels - When They Were Written?
Some scholars place the gospels quite a bit earlier. Evangelicals tend to go along with these dates for the most part. They put Matthew and luke in the seventies or eighties, and then john in the nineties. Some scholars hold the dates that fall outside these ranges very definitely.
