Did William Be King?

This episode focuses on the first moments of william's reign. The english wanted him to be king, so they could gain lands and titles. But there was some disagreement as to whether or not he was in fact a king. William took the position that he wasn't king because no coronation had taken place. He also didn't have to accept edgar  as king since he hadn't been crowned.
