"I'm realizing there's something really beautiful that I've learned from the scripture, but it's something I have been missing in its application," she says. "It only becomes more beautiful when that's done in a different space than the one that I'm used to." She offers some tools for people who are re-learning a relationship with the Bible after maybe only understanding it as a weapon used against their humanity.
