Can Carbohydrit Mouth Rinsing Have an Effect on Performance?

There is a carbohydrate sensing in the human mouth effects on exercise performance and brain activity. This has been observed, probably in the majority of studies where they've looked at this for endurance training but in a a minority of studies on resistance training. And occasionally it seems to result in slightly more a volume performed during rexistance training. But in most studies it doesn't. So a, i think the effect, if it occurs is its inconsistent. And when the effect is there, it is small at best.
