The Importance of Money in Capitalism
The meaning which production has in relation to the rich is seen revealed in the meaning which it has for the poor. Money not only creates a division between what constitutes need for the workers versus need for the rich according to marx it also becomes a dominating force within capitalist society asserting a sort of absolute privacy capitalism creates a system wherein the possession and acquiring of objects is a central activity for man-kind and these objects have to be acquired through transaction this system creates a world in which money is central as money possesses quote the property of appropriating all objectsmoney is thus the object of eminent possession he says.
