The Killing of Kenneth Duff
At age 18, mc duff was convicted of 12 counts of burglary and attempted burglary in three different texas counties. His official criminal record began two years before these murders. He actually makes parole in december of 19 65 but then return to prison after becoming involved in some type of fight. This must have been a violation of his parole, so he's sent back to prison briefly, and he is soon released after that.
