How Can Prisons Become a Site of Political Identity?

The prison system isn't just an economic system that it's like a kind of Historical kind of class identity system that helps or sociology. It allows us to imagine that everybody that's in prison is is innocent and they're just for Like bad reasons just to make profit off of them, right? I mean even the name sheriff is insulting because we're supposed to go along with like the American fascination with itself. And i've never really been able to convince a politicized prisoner in the south That talking about prison in terms of slavery was the wrong approach.
