The official autopsy simply just said he died of suicide by hanging. His family hired a noted forensic pathologist, doctor michael baden, who was present at the autopsy. He revealed later that ebstein had three broken bones in his neck. That are more indicative of a homicidal strangulation than a suicidal strangulation.
