I don't think we've ever analyzed a brilliant refereeing decision and talked about how on earth did he get that right. How did he deal with the pressure from the players? How did he cope with the crowd in that moment? Never. Not once. There's two or three examples where goals have been scored because the referees allow play to continue after something's happened, but nobody wants to talk about it.
