Aquinas' Virtues Are Not Day-Feed-Ay

The New Testament uses very rarely the technical word, technical Greek word for virtue. But three of the four cardinal virtues are used. Phronasis, di causune often, sofrosune, they are all used. Aquinas thinks they're in the scriptures. We grow in the life of grace by analogy with acquired virtue; we have insights beyond our normal ability that allowed us to save Jews.
