The Importance of Structure 10 in the Bronze Age
In its heedy, just after its first build, it must have been one of the most spectacular pieces of architecture in northwest Europe. What's really interesting is what happened to structure 10 at the end of its use and reconstruction. It seems to be there not just maybe commemorating the nest as it had been, but it is this kind of change happening within society. Just above that bone deposit at the back of the building, we find one of the few beaker shards of pottery,. plus also flint barbed and taint arrowhead - classic early bronze age.
