The Importance of Vasopressors in Intubation
I was wondering what your thoughts were about that and how you think of that as a good versus bad outcome. And also I noticed that if the patient had an increase in vasopressor prior to the induction agent, it was not counted in the outcome. If patients had a fluid bolus because they were hypotension, so sort of as a safety treatment or similar to the vasopressor increase, it was also not counted in this study. So we chose to include both of those because they're clearly things that were physicians are responding to bad things happening. That's just good clinical practice to avoid hypertension.
