This season, we will be reading a collection of classic fairy tales. Flower fables was the very first work ever published by louisa may alcott. Alcott wrote these stories for ellen emerson, daughter of famed essayist and poet ralph waldo emerson. The tales are charming short stories for children, involving fairy folk, flowers and woodland creatures,. often with a moral about the importance of the power of love and kindness.
