The US Dollar as a Reserve Currency

There's been a lot of tech about the US dollar as a reserve currency. I was just curious what your thoughts were on that if you felt like it had any legitimacy and see what your thoughts are on that. The only thing I'll say about it, is that as long as the US bond market to the biggest and most liquid bond markets in the world, I just don't see an alternative to the dollar being a reserve Currency. If some other country like China had a bond market as deep as liquid in the US, I think we can have a debate about that. It would lead to a global dollar shortage.
