Nominalism and Empiricism, Right?

There's a kind of interesting connection between empiricism and nominalism. And I also feel like this, it's tied to this idea that my political act really is to wrench my particularity out of the unit or what I think is a universal that's oppressing it. Right? So there's a, right. There's a,right. The index of my political engagement is the degree to which I'm committed to some particular against some overarching universal that is oppressive. That's the nominalist position. This is like on TV show. All things being equal. It's like everywhere.
